OVERVIEW OF THE TRIP
This is a fun and relaxing day trip. First, we visit Materuni Waterfalls near Mount Kilimanjaro. You will walk through green farms and see a big waterfall—great for photos and fresh air.
Next, we meet local people and learn how they grow and make coffee. You will help roast and grind the beans, then drink your own fresh cup of coffee. There is singing and dancing too!
After lunch, we go to Kikuletwa Hot Springs. The water is warm and clear—perfect for swimming and relaxing. You can enjoy nature and take your time before we drive back to your hotel.
This trip is great for anyone who loves nature, culture, and a peaceful swim.
ITINERARy
Start Time: 08:00 AM End Time: Around 06:00 PM Starting Point: Your hotel in Moshi or Arusha
Morning: Materuni Village & Waterfalls
After breakfast, we’ll drive to Materuni Village, located near Mount Kilimanjaro.
You’ll take a short walk through banana and coffee farms to reach the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls.
The waterfall is about 70 meters high—perfect for photos and a refreshing splash if you like!
Enjoy the peaceful nature and learn about the local plants and traditions.
Coffee Tour Experience
After the waterfall, we’ll visit a local Chagga family to learn how they grow and make coffee.
You’ll roast, grind, and brew your own cup of fresh coffee—singing and dancing included!
It’s a fun and interactive way to experience Tanzanian culture.
Afternoon: Kikuletwa Hot Springs
We’ll then drive to Kikuletwa Hot Springs, also known as Chemka.
The water is crystal clear and warm—great for swimming and relaxing.
You can enjoy a picnic lunch here and take your time in the water.
There are changing rooms and local snacks available.
Return
After enjoying the hot springs, we’ll drive you back to your hotel.
The tour ends with great memories and lots of photos!
